Five Easy Steps to Financial Aid
Step
1
Apply for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) OR the California Dream Act Application (CADAA), whichever is applicable to the student. For in-person assistance, students may stop by our computer lab during open business hours.
Students must complete only one application, not both. The priority filing deadline is March 3, 2025. The Fullerton College school code is 001201
Step
2
Carefully review the information provided on your FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS). Your FSS will provide basic estimates about your eligibility for student aid, but it is not a financial aid offer. Students may access their FSS on their StudentAid.gov dashboard.
Step
3
Complete any additional financial aid requirements by the priority deadline of May 30, 2025.
Login to myGateway > select Student Tools > select Financial Aid > select My Overall Status > select the correct academic year. Any outstanding requirements you may have will be listed here. Most requirements will be satisfied on your Student Forms account at fullcoll.studentforms.com.
Step
4
Set-up your financial aid refund preference on myGateway. Our school delivers your refund with BankMobile Disbursements, a technology solution, powered by BMTX, Inc. Log into myGateway > select Student Tools > click on BankMobile. Disbursement dates can be found on the How Financial Aid Gets to You flyer in the publications section of Financial Aid website.
Visit BankMobile Disbursements for more information or view third-party contract for refund management.
Step
5
Be prepared to pay upfront for textbooks, supplies, and other fees.
Financial aid, excluding the California College Promise Grant (CCPG), does not become available to students until after school begins.
